Gholamreza Amirshaghaghi told Shana about the latest status of the injured in the accident on Thursday evening at Khark Petrochemical Complex, saying: “The victims of this incident reached two people.”
The CEO of Khark Petrochemical expressed his condolences on the death of the two colleagues to their families and employees of the petrochemical industry, and added: "The other two injured in the accident have been discharged from the hospital and one injured is being treated in the hospital and his general condition is fine."
The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unit of Khark Petrochemical Company caught fire around 5:00 PM on Thursday during major repairs, which was contained after about 15 minutes. The fire was caused by a leak of discharged hydrocarbons during a major overhaul of the LPG unit.
