According to the reports by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), development of the project is going on uninterrupted as the capacity for production of various pipes for completion of the plan has more than doubled.
This has created 800 direct and 1,700 indirect jobs.
According to PEDEC, the pipes are being supplied by domestic providers and manufacturers.
Moreover, NIOC has also announced that considering the current pace in completion of the project, part of it will come on stream by the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 19, 2021.
PEDEC CEO, Touraj Dehghani, says all the pipes required for the crude oil transmission line from Goreh, Bushehr Province to Jask Port, Hormuzgan Province, both southern Iran, will be delivered by November 20.
The pipeline is being laid to turn Jask into Iran’s second oil export hub.
