Pirous Mousavi said the projects would generate as many as 10,000 jobs in the country.

He said a new downstream hub would be developed in the zone provided that timely investment was made in it.

The official further said that phases 22-24 and 13 of the supergiant gas field would come online soon and Phase 14 of the field would also become operational next Iranian calendar year beginning on March 21.
