MOGPC Output Exceeds Expectations in Spring

TEHRAN (Shana) -- Maroon Oil and Gas Production Company (MOGPC) operated at 101 percent of its nameplate capacity in the spring of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

MOGPC CEO Jahangir Pourhang said the company supplied 563,000 barrels per day of oil during the three months which was 101% of its average production.

He said the company also injected 60,669 barrels/day of desalination wastewater to disposal wells which was 99% of all the wastewater produced by the company as a major step to protect the environment.

Pourhang further underlined oil extraction by using mobile separators and processing equipment, and said: "In the first three months of this year, a total of 34,475 barrels of crude oil was recovered and returned to the production cycle by using MOS and MOT systems."
