Iran, Sustainable Exporter of Oil Products: Official Says

TEHRAN, June 13 (Shana) -- A senior Iranian oil official said Iran has become a sustainable exporter of oil products as it supplied petroleum items intermittently throughout the previous calendar year.

Speaking to Shana, Abbas Kazemi, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Products and Distribution Company (NIOPDC), said, "For the first time in the previous calendar year (ended March 20), Iran supplied petroleum products on export markets intermittently."

He said Iran exported an average of 400,000 barrels of gasoil, fuel oil, kerosene and liquefied gas during the previous year even during summer.

Kazemi added that export of petroleum items is rising in the current year and all oil decks at Iran's terminals are active and load cargoes on export vessels.
