Director of Operations at the refinery Mohammad Farzaneh has said the company has 7-folded its sulfur sale in the year from a year earlier.
The facility sold 6,320 tons of bentonite sulfur in the year.
This is while the company sold only 861 tons of the item in the preceding year.
Bentonite is an absorbent aluminum phyllosilicate clay consisting mostly of montmorillonite.
The refinery is the only supplier of the item in Iran which produces it based on the latest standards and technologies.
