Speaking with Shana, Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Marziyeh Shahdaei said reconstruction of the plant after last month's inferno in its Para xylene storage tank is under way and the aromatic units of the facility will restore their activities next week.
She said the units were expected to become operational sooner but because of certain unforeseen incidents resumption of their activities took longer than expected.
Shahdaei said the experiences of French company will be tapped for reconstruction of the Para xylene tower of the plant.
