LLK-NAFTAN Seeking Iranian Partners

TEHRAN, May 14 (Shana) -- Managing director of LLK-NAFTAN, the largest supplier of equipment of additives production among the CIA states, said his company is working in Iran and looking for partners interested in distribution of its products in the Iranian market and the region.

Speaking with Shana on the sidelines of a conference held by Argus on base oils and lubricants in Tehran on Tuesday, Mikhail Babushkin said it was his first visit to Iran and has so far held talks with a number of Iranian companies for distribution of its products in the country.

"Iranian market consumes about 40,000 tones which is double our production capacity, therefore it would be a big market for us," Babushkin said.

He said LLK-NAFTAN has no regional markets and Iran would be their first partner in the region.

"We are planning to work with state or private companies in Iran. There are a lot of companies in the county that can consume our products and we are looking for cooperation with both of them," he added.

Joint venture with limited liability "LLK-NAFTAN" (JVLL"LLK-NAFTAN") was founded on the 28th of April 2006. The main founders are JSC "NAFTAN" (Republic of Belarus) and LUKOIL Lubricants International Holding GmbH (Austria, Daughter Company of PJSC "LUKOIL", Russian Federation). JVLL "LLK-NAFTAN" is the resident of the Republic of Belarus; it is the enterprise with foreign investments.
