Speaking Sunday evening at a Cabinet meeting, according to the government's information portal, Pezeshkian stressed the need to improve public communication and clearly explain government actions. He said all ministries and executive bodies have public relations capacity that should be used actively, cohesively and effectively to inform public opinion — particularly regarding the recent agreement, which he said requires accurate, documented and transparent reporting.

Referencing false narratives about the government's performance, Pezeshkian said it would be impossible for the government to act on major national issues without coordination and approval from the Leader. He said public relations offices across government agencies should actively present accurate accounts to inform the public about the country's realities and achievements.

The president said the government had shouldered the responsibility of running the country under extremely difficult conditions. He said that across sectors including energy, transportation, infrastructure, health and communications, no service disruptions were allowed despite pressure and damage from enemy actions, and that repair and rebuilding efforts followed quickly wherever damage occurred.

Pezeshkian said the enemy's goal was to destabilize the country and disrupt its governance, but that ministers, managers, provincial governors and executive and cultural agencies thwarted the effort through effective management and round-the-clock work.

He added that many international observers now acknowledge the United States and Israel failed to achieve their objectives, both militarily and diplomatically, but said some people inside Iran continue to push a narrative of defeat that he argued does not serve the national interest.

Pezeshkian also noted that officials from previous administrations have acknowledged that managing the country under such complex conditions was no easy task, calling the government's record on maintaining stability and continuing services notable.

Later in the meeting, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad reported on his ministry's performance in oil exports and sales despite external restrictions. Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni also briefed the Cabinet on his trip to Pakistan, announcing agreements to expand border, road and rail cooperation, facilitate direct truck transport to final destinations, and progress in talks on the Peace Pipeline gas project.
