Abdorrahim Shamsoddini said the second refinery, estimated to cost $1.8 billion, would have a capacity of 120,000 b/d of gas condensate.
This refinery, whose construction is expected to last four years, would produce 10 million liters a day of euro-4 gasoline and a large amount of euro-4 gasoil.
Shiraz oil refinery is already producing 2.5 million liters a day of regular gasoline, 3.7 ml/d of gasoil, 1.5 ml/d of fuel oil, 500,000 l/d of jet fuel, 300,000 l/d of kerosene, 200 tons a day of liquefied gas and 10 tons a day of sulfur.
