The RIPI’s official Mansour Bazmi made the remarks in an interview with Shana, adding South Pars faces a great amount of sulfur produced in the region which is harmful to the environment.
He continued that RIPI has converted these masses to a kind of sulfur which could be used in agriculture and during the 20th Oil Exhibition it will unveil the technical know-how of the sulfur fertilizers.
According to him, RIPI has tested these sulfur fertilizers successfully.
20th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition opened on May 6 at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.
The 4-day event has chosen reliance on domestic manufacturing as its motto this year.
Companies from Italy, China, UAE, India, Turkey, Russia, France, Belgium, England, Singapore, Monaco, South Korea, Ukraine, Spain, Austria, Kazakhstan and Switzerland are among the key participants in the exhibition.
More than 1200 Iranian companies and 600 foreign companies from 29 countries have applied for participation in the event.
