Mohammad-Javad Askari said the decision followed sustained efforts by the committee and cooperation from the Oil Ministry, aiming to support production and address farmers' concerns.

Askari said the fuel allocation was finalized through continued follow-up by the committee and assistance from the oil minister, the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, and other relevant agencies.

He added that the decision came after joint meetings with the Headquarters for Combating Goods and Currency Smuggling, the Agriculture Jihad Ministry, the Oil Ministry and other responsible bodies, aimed at resolving farmers' concerns during the peak of the planting and harvest season.

Askari stressed that securing fuel for agricultural machinery had been a major demand among farmers. He said the committee pursued the issue seriously and, with cooperation from the Oil Ministry and related agencies, secured the fuel as a supplementary quota to support producers.

Timely fuel supplies for farm equipment play a key role in sustaining planting, cultivation and harvest operations, preventing losses to production, and safeguarding the country's food security, Askari said, adding that the committee will continue monitoring the allocation and distribution process until the decision is fully implemented.
