In a post published Thursday on his X account, Pezeshkian shared the Persian version of the memorandum, noting that it marked the first time a president of the United States had signed an official document written in Persian.
“The text reflects the voice of a nation that has never traded its dignity and independence for threats or pressure,” Pezeshkian wrote.
He added that the agreement was achieved through “national perseverance, political rationality and responsible diplomacy,” describing it as a significant milestone resulting from Iran’s steadfastness and diplomatic engagement.
