The National Petrochemical Company, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Central Bank of Iran and the Iran Mercantile Exchange are expanding cooperation to support downstream industries, he said.
According to the NPC, a coordination meeting on supplying downstream petrochemical needs was held with CEO Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Industry Minister Reza Ansari and Ahmad Mahdavi-Abhari, secretary-general of the Petrochemical Employers Association.
Abbaszadeh presented a report on the recovery and reconstruction of petrochemical facilities damaged during the third imposed war.
Officials from the petrochemical company, the industry ministry, the CBI, the IME and the Consumer and Producer Protection Organization also attended.
Recent meetings involving industry executives, experts and some members of parliament have focused on accelerating reconstruction and restoring production capacity.
Abbaszadeh also conducted field visits to damaged sites, including trips to Asalouyeh and, for a second time since the conflict, the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone in Mahshahr.
