Household gas consumption continues downward trend

SHANA (Tehran) – Gas consumption in the residential, commercial and small industrial sectors fell to 443 million cubic meters on Feb. 14, coinciding with rising temperatures.

According to data from the National Iranian Gas Company, gas consumption in these sectors reached 443 million cubic meters of the total gas delivered to the national network on Saturday, marking a decrease of 27 million cubic meters compared with the previous day.

Observing consumption patterns and using standard heating equipment play a decisive role in maintaining the stability of the gas supply network and preventing excessive pressure on the system during peak demand periods.

The National Iranian Gas Company emphasized that consumption management in the residential and commercial sectors is critical to ensuring network stability and meeting the needs of other sectors. The company urged consumers to follow optimized consumption practices and conserve gas to help ensure a stable supply nationwide.
