NDF share of oil exports set at 20%

SHANA (Tehran) – The government has set the National Development Fund’s share of oil export revenues at 20% in the proposed fiscal 1405 budget submitted to Parliament.

Under the budget bill, the allocation of free bitumen quotas to government agencies remains unchanged from this year, set at 25 trillion rials.

The proposal also introduces a new provision covering payments for obligations and the buyback of energy-saving certificates by the Optimization Organization from its inception to the final beneficiary, signaling a new approach to energy consumption optimization.

According to the bill, the National Iranian Oil Co.’s share of revenues collected from crude oil and gas condensate exports—excluding barter transactions and special projects—will be 14.5% next year, unchanged from fiscal 1404. The National Iranian Gas Co.’s share of gas export revenues is also set at 14.5%, with no change from this year.
