Chairman of board of directors of the company producing the new power meters said that Iranian experts have finally achieved the technology following four years of scientific and practical studies.
Behzad Tirdad stated in an Irna report that the new technology has extensive use in water and sewage, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries as well as in urban and rural water networks.
Terming the achievement as a major step toward achieving high-tech know-how, he noted that advanced industrialized nations try to monopolize such technologies.
According to Tirdad, Britain, Denmark, France, Italy, Germany Japan, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the US are able to produce such flowmeters. Iran is the 12th country to join the club.
