SHANA (Tehran) – The 19th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission opened Monday (February 16) in Tehran and concluded Wednesday (February 18). Expert-level meetings were scheduled for the first two days, with the final memorandum of understanding signed on the last day by the commission’s co-chairs.

OPEC Aug. Output Up 478,000 b/d

Iran, OPEC’s 2nd Largest Refiner
SHANA (Tehran) -- The Secretariat of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has said in its 60th annual statistical bulletin (ASB) that Iran is the OPEC’s second largest refiner. According to the bulletin, Iran’s refining capacity stands at 2.237 mb/d, and accounts for 16% of OPEC’s total refining capacity.
