SHANA (Tehran) - The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) turned 64 today. The organization was founded in 1960 when representatives f Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela gathered in Baghdad and founded OPEC to open in new chapter in defending the rights of oil producing countries. On the occasion, OPEC's Secretary General has released a video honoring 64 years of OPEC achievements.
