The meeting of OPEC and its allies, which was scheduled to be held today (Tuesday, December 1), was postponed to Thursday, December 3, due to the need for further consultations and negotiations.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 180th OPEC meeting which was held via video conference on Monday, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said the OPEC meeting adjourned and its continuation was postponed to the OPEC+ meeting.
“What is important is that we negotiate and have the patience to reach a conclusion,” he said.
The OPEC meeting on Monday evening lasted more than four hours.
