RIPI Signs Agreement for Participation in Foreign Projects

TEHRAN (Shana) – The Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) has signed a contract worth $238,095 with Iran’s Shoukoh Sanat Espadan company.

Signed on Friday (May 3) on the sidelines of Iran Oil Show, the agreement pertained to the basic engineering of atmospheric distillation unit in automated vacuum waste collection as well as tar air blowing unit.
A pioneering scientific and research institute in the Middle East’s oil industry, RIPI plans to participate in the implementation of projects in other countries in addition to meeting domestic needs of Iran’s oil industry, said Jafar Tofiqi, the institute’s head, speaking on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the contract.
RIPI has placed on its agenda cooperation with companies participating in foreign projects, he noted, adding, “We hope that cooperation with Shoukoh Sanat Espadan company in a project to construct a refinery in a neighboring state would mark a good beginning for the expansion of our international activities.”
The 24th Iran International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2019) began on Wednesday (May 1) and will continue until May 4.
