The statement said that earlier Tuesday evening (April 7), a unit of Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company, located in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone, was struck in an attack by US and Israeli forces.

Emergency and firefighting teams are working to contain the blaze at the facility.

No injuries among employees have been reported so far.
