Iran has no surplus crude for sale

SHANA (Tehran) - The Oil Ministry’s spokesperson said Iran currently has no surplus crude oil stored on the water or available for sale in international markets.

Saman Ghadousi, caretaker of the ministry’s Public Relations Department, wrote Friday on the social platform X:
“Iran does not have any crude oil left on the water or any surplus available for sale in other international markets, and the U.S. Treasury secretary’s remarks are aimed solely at encouraging buyers and influencing market sentiment.”
