Petrol Output of Persian Gulf Star Refinery hits 27.5ml/d

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The petrol output of Bandar Abbas Gas Condensate Refinery, also known as Persian Gulf Star Refinery, has reached 27.5 million liters per day, the plant's managing director says.

According to the National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company (NIORDC), Mohammad Ali Dadvar said production of petrol at the plant stands at 27.5 million liters per day.

Plans are under way to bring the facility's petrol output to 30 ml/d by September.

He said the plant was operating at a stable mode and its production rose from 26 ml/d last week to 27.5 ml/d this week.

Persian Gulf Star Refinery is the world's largest gas condensate refinery which is 70% developed by domestically-build equipment, fully installed by Iranian companies, and 95% operated by domestic forces.
