PSEEZ Non-Oil Exports hit $7.9b Last Year

TEHRAN, May 03 (Shana) -- Iran's export of non-oil items from Pars Special Economic Energy Zone fetched the country over $7.9b in revenues last calendar year (ended March 20), PSEEZ managing director said.

Mahdi Yousefi said a total of 34.195 million tons of goods valued at $14.917b (22% up year-on-year) was exported from the zone during the previous Iranian calendar year which ended on March 20. 

He said the exports rose by 41% in terms of their weight from the preceding year. 

Yousefi added that non-oil exports reached 16.68 million tons valued at 7.9 billion dollars. The exports grew by 26% in terms weight and 8% in terms of value. 

During the year, 17.5 million tons of gas condensate ($7.01b) was exported from the region with a total growth of 59% in weight and 43% in value from a year ago.
