A customs official, Mohammad Mahdi Qaraei, told Shana that 28 export companies exported 96.3 million tons of the item to Afghanistan during the same period.
Lowering smuggling of the item and boosting the country's income are two of the advantages of boosting exports to other countries, Qaraei said.
