Reza Forouzesh said Pars Oil and Gas Company is making efforts to make the refineries operational in June.
He said that the ethane and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) units of refinery of Phases 15&16 are to come on-stream in three months.
He said more than 2 million barrels of condensate has so far been exported from these phases.
Phases 15&16 development of South Pars are aimed at producing 56.6 mcm/d of natural gas, 75,000 b/d of gas condensate, 4,000 tons a day of sulfur, 1,05 million tons a year of LPG and 1 million tons of ethane to feed petrochemical plants.
South Pars is currently accounting for 72% of Iran’s gas demand.
