TEHRAN Feb 07(Shana)--Drilling operations at South Pars gas field phase 19 will be over before year-end on March 20 2015, managing director of Petropars Nematollah Alirezaee said.

Speaking to Shana, Alirezaee said that South Pars phase 19 includes four sweetening trains with respectively 82.11, 83. 83, 80 and 79.21 percent physical progress.

He said construction of onshore facilities of the phase have made progress by 82 percent in total, noting installation of onshore equipment is near completion.

He continued part of foreign-made equipment of the phase is expected to be available over the first half of next Iranian year to September for installation.

According to him, construction of three platforms of the phase is currently underway while construction of jackets and laying sub-sea pipelines are over.

"I think the first platform of phase 19 will become operational in November, the second one in December and the third one in March 2016, while the first sweetening train is expected to become online in September after setting up the first topside of the phase 19," he said.

Development of phases 12, 15&16 and 17&18 are top priorities of Iran's Petroleum Ministry due to their higher percent of physical progress.

Development plan of phase 19, located in the western part of South Pars gas reservoir, is aimed at production of 56 million cubic meters of sour gas per day and transferring it to onshore facilities for converting to 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas, 550 tons of ethane, 2000 tons of propane, 1200 tons of ethane, 80 thousand barrels of gas condensate as well as 400 tons of sulfur on a daily basis.
