Iran Poised to Enhance Gasoil Export

TEHRAN Feb 07(Shana)--Plans are under way for Iran raise its gasoil supply to world markets during the next current Iranian calendar year which begins on March 20 2015, a deputy petroleum minister said.

Abbas Kazemi, who also serves as managing director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), said estimated figures indicate that Iran will have 20 million liters of excess gasoil output next year which can be exported to Iraq and Afghanistan through land and to other destinations in the world through water routes. 

Iran currently produces 100 ml/d of gasoil of which 24 ml is euro-4-grade processed at the refineries of Tehran and Imam Khomeini in Shazand, added Kazemi. 

Besides, he added, 3 million liters of gasoil will come online by the next three months from Lavan Refinery. 

He said Bandar Abbas Refinery will also add 10 ml of euro-4 gasoil by August 2015 to the country's total output.
