Ilam Gas Refinery Sulfur Output at 40,000t

TEHRAN Dec 30 (Shana)--Ilam gas refinery has produced more than 40,000 tons of sulfur since the start of the current calendar year in March, the refinery’s manager said.

Najaf Balali said during the same period 1.199 bcm of gas has been produced by the refinery.

He said two gas storage tanks are available in the company to store gas condensate, adding that nearly 266,000 cubic meters of condensate has been produced over the same period of time.

The refinery is currently producing more than 300 tons a day of liquefied petroleum gas.

Located in western Iran, the refinery receives 6.8 mcm/d of gas for processing. It supplies 5.8 mcm/d of sweet gas to Ilam and Kermanshah provinces.
