He said the gas facility has taken 7.6 bcm of sour gas and 410 mcm of sweet gas from Mozdoran and Gonbadli reservoirs.
According to Farzaneh Moqqadm even though the gas processing plant is able to dehydrate 1.8 bcm of sweet gas, NIOC has decided to offset the volume of delivery to the plant to just 410 mcm in order to optimize withdrawal of gas from reservoirs and preserve them to maximize lifespan of the reserves.
The gas processing plant also has been able to produce 328 million barrels of gas condensate, he noted.
Sustainable gas production is one of the prominent features of Hasheminejad gas refinery, the official said, adding the refinery is ready by 100 percent for continuous gas production in winter.
NIGC’s dispatching survey shows that Hasheminejad gas processing plant ranks first among the gas refineries of the country for being reported as the first refinery with the least unscheduled operation halts in the country.
