Director of planning at NIGC, Hassan Torbati, made the above-mentioned remarks in an interview with Shana adding the breakthrough implies domestic industrialists have taken remarkable steps in manufacturing including production of tubrocompressors.

On his view about performance of the 19th Oil and Gas Show held in Tehran from May 6-9, the NIGC official said that “strong presence of domestic companies showcasing their equipment was very eye-catching”.

He continued deployment of domestic manufacturers capabilities in gas industry will help realization of Economy of Resistance which not only will result in creating jobs but will be followed by cutting reliance on foreigners and prevention of foreign currency outflow.

Torbati said that participation of domestic and foreign investors in domestic projects was another interesting feature of the 19th Oil and Gas Show.

“NIGC introduced its ongoing projects in the show in order to prepare the ground for investors to think about the projects on the one hand and stated the list of equipment it needs to facilitate participation of industrialists in the area on the other hand”, he told Shana.
