Gasoline Plant Needs 2.5b-Euro Investment

TEHRAN May 11 (Shana)--A gasoline production plant at Isfahan refinery needs a 2.5-billion-euro investment, managing-director of National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction said.

Mir-Ali Asghar Sajedi said the gasoline plant is one of the most important refining projects under way by NIOEC.

He said that the project is designed to reduce fuel oil production, increase gasoline production and boost the quality of gasoline, kerosene and gasoil to the European standards.

Sajedi said producing gasoline from fuel oil needs 1.6 billion euros in credit.

He also said that Bandar Abbas refinery’s gasoline production is to increase by 4.8 ml/d.

Sajedi also said that development of Abadan Oil Refinery would also need 2.6 billion euros in credit.
