“A main problem for petrochemical companies is to purchase feedstock from refineries,” Abbas Sheri-Moqaddam said.

He added that refineries can purchase shares of petrochemical plants to resolve this problem.

Sheri-Moqaddam also said that petrochemical companies have to focus on development which, he said, will be profitable.

He said a petrochemical investment fund is being established with the cooperation of Stock Exchange and Securities Corporation for financing petrochemical projects.
