Petchem plants to be rebuilt with advanced technologies

SHANA (Tehran) – The head of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said the company will support petrochemical holdings and firms affected by the recent conflict and emphasized that damaged facilities should be rebuilt and brought back into operation using advanced technologies.

According to the NPC, CEO Hassan Abbaszadeh made the remarks during a meeting attended by senior executives from petrochemical companies to review recovery and reconstruction efforts at facilities damaged during the Third Imposed War.

Abbaszadeh said the NPC remains committed to supporting affected holdings and petrochemical companies and stressed that reconstruction activities should continue at an appropriate pace by utilizing all available industry capacities.

He added that damaged plants should be rebuilt and restarted with the help of modern technologies, noting that greater coordination and synergy among different segments of the petrochemical industry will be essential to the recovery process.

During the meeting, senior petrochemical industry officials underscored the need for cooperation and alignment across the sector and reaffirmed their determination to accelerate the reconstruction of facilities damaged during the conflict.

Chief executives of petrochemical companies also presented updates on restoration progress and shared their views on measures needed to speed up the rebuilding process.
